FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: restoration of the working surface of the cylinder liners of internal combustion engines. Previously, the inner surface of the sleeve is bored, degreased, dried, copper-plated by wetting it with a solution of copper sulphate in an electrolyte, then a pasty mixture is prepared, consisting of powders of antifriction material 35-48%, powders of carbide materials 20-25% and solder fat 32-40%, which is applied to the copper-plated inner surface of the sleeve, then the sleeve is reinstalled on a rotating table, where it is heated to 850-900°C with an induction heating source for soldering the anti-friction material to the inner surface of the liner and sintering the carbide materials, finally, the inner surface of the liner is honed.

EFFECT: improving the coating quality, operational reliability and durability of the sleeve due to the use of powders of antifriction material in the form of brass and powders of tungsten, titanium, chromium carbides.
