FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to repair and recovery production and can be used, for example, in reconditioning of necks of steel crankshafts of internal combustion engines. Method involves preparation of the surface of necks by means of cleaning from corrosion and shot blasting, installation of shaft on screw-cutting lathe and shaft rotation on machine, implementation of flame spraying of coating on surfaces of necks with simultaneous its sealing by means of disk from hard-alloy material. Prior to flame spraying on each neck along its entire length a helical groove turn is made, in which paste-like flux is laid for soldering of alloys of iron and copper and copper wire with diameter corresponding to repair size, which is point-fixed by soldering by means of gas burner.

EFFECT: use of the invention improves operational reliability of the restored crankshafts.
