FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of repair production, in particular to the technology of reconditioning the journals of steel crankshafts of internal combustion engines. First, the shaft journals are subjected to copper plating, then to the rotating journals by means of a cylindrical screw shaft equipped with an electric drive, a journal, an outlet branch pipe and a holder fixed in the machine tool holder. When moving the cutter holder, a layer of paste-like mixture is applied, consisting of powders of antifriction material 35–48 %, powders of hard-alloy materials 20–25 % and tallow 32–40 %. Then the journals are wrapped on top with silica glass fabric, then each journal is placed in turn in a detachable inductor and subjected to a certain period of heating for soldering and sintering of the applied paste layer, wherein the inductor is switched on according to the program, first, a low frequency of 50 Hz is used to increase the heating depth, and then the frequency is increased to 5000 Hz, after warming up, shower cooling is performed to enable reinstallation of the inductor, and finally, the surface of the journals is restored by grinding.

EFFECT: invention allows improving the quality of the applied coating and increasing the service life.
