FIELD: medicine; cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: in patients during hospitalization the following is determined: age, the presence or absence of chronic kidney disease, the ratio of neutrophils to lymphocytes, the international normalized ratio, the duration of the QT interval on the electrocardiogram, the number of platelets, the levels of procalcitonin, C-reactive protein, creatinine, bilirubin, lactate dehydrogenase in blood serum. To calculate the risk of developing chronic heart failure, mathematical processing of numerical values is carried out according to the original formula. With a P value of more than 0.5, a high risk of developing chronic heart failure is predicted.
EFFECT: method allows to predict the risk of developing chronic heart failure in patients who have had a new coronavirus infection, which increases the accuracy of diagnosis, and affects the treatment tactics; makes it possible to obtain an individual risk profile of a particular patient; easy to use due to the laboratory parameters determined by all the patients upon admission to the hospital.
