SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to internal medicine. In women, the values of four indicators are determined: weight, body mass index (BMI), hip volume (HV) and triglyceride (TG) level in a blood sample. The obtained values are compared with the threshold values of the corresponding indicators, and when three or more values of the indicators exceeding the threshold values of the corresponding indicators are obtained, a conclusion is made about the high risk of developing a severe course of the new coronavirus infection.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to simplify the assessment of the risk of developing a severe course of a new coronavirus infection, which will ensure the correct choice of patient management tactics and early prevention of complications of coronavirus infection in the risk group.
