FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: pressure device of the V-chain variator contains pressing device bushings with pressing device tracks with a variable angle of pressing, and pressing device rollers. The device also includes a spring or springs configured to rest with one end on the movable pulley and the other end on the pressure device bushing directly or through the intermediate bushing.
EFFECT: roller misalignment and jamming are eliminated during transition from the acceleration mode to the engine braking mode.
