FIELD: fire extinguishing.

SUBSTANCE: means of extinguishing petroleum products, namely an automatic extinguishing facility with the supply of foam under the layer of petroleum products in tanks. The facility includes a main foam pipeline, lower, middle and upper inner annular foam lines, an outer annular foam line, foam nozzles, a foam generator, check and solenoid valves, a membrane and a starting device, as well as a fire water pipeline with a pump and monitors. In this case, the middle inner annular foam line is connected to the upper inner annular foam line using a section of the foam line. In the upper part of the side walls of the tank, three additional production hatches with thermal fire detectors are installed, which are connected by communication lines to relays, video and audio signals, as well as to a starting device. The invention can be used in the oil industry to extinguish fires of flammable liquids of long-term storage in vertical steel tanks.

EFFECT: automating the supply of foam, reducing the time it takes for foam to rise into the oil product layer, reducing the time for extinguishing, and also minimizing the time to determine the start of a fire.
