SUBSTANCE: methods for treating wastewater from heavy metal ions using agricultural waste. Pre-dried stems of agricultural plants and buckwheat husks, crushed to a size of no more than 0.3 cm, are used as a sorbent for wastewater treatment. Buckwheat husks are pre-treated with water at a temperature of at least 40°C. Next, pre-prepared stems of agricultural plants and buckwheat husks are placed in the reactor in a ratio of 1:4 and extracted with water at a temperature of 115 to 120°C. Then the resulting mixture is added to a container with waste water and kept for at least 90 minutes. After this, it is filtered to obtain a liquid phase, which is pumped into another container, where a chemical analysis of the content of heavy metals and the solid phase is carried out. The remaining organic sorbent is sent for disposal.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the degree of wastewater purification from heavy metals.
