FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluorescent diagnostics of lymph circulation of the mammary gland (MG). Indirect fluorescent lymphography is performed by intradermal periareolar injection of a diagnostic dye — indocyanine green and its movement along the lymphatic pathways towards the regional lymph nodes is determined and the time of visualization of the first regional lymph node that has accumulated a fluorescent contrast agent is recorded, its topical localization in the final lymph flow path is determined, the distance from it to the nipple is measured in centimeters, the speed of lymph flow in the mammary gland is calculated by dividing the resulting value by the time it takes the fluorescent drug to travel this path in minutes and the speed is determined in centimeters/minute.
EFFECT: use of the proposed method in clinical practice makes it possible to achieve several technical (therapeutic) and theoretically scientific results: in the case of surgery on the contralateral mammary gland when cancer occurs, it helps to predict the operating and anesthesia time required for the intraoperative use of the technique for determining the “sentinel lymph node”; in the case of symmetrizing aesthetic surgery on the contralateral breast, it helps to choose a flap with optimal microcirculation for healing during oncoplastic breast surgery; and to expand the theoretical basis for the study of physiology, in particular microcirculation in the mammary gland, an important element of which is the movement of lymph.
