GEOMETRIC ARRANGEMENTS OF SYSTEMS OF PROLONGED STAY IN STOMACH Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61K9/52 A61K31/00 A61K47/30 A61M31/00

Abstract RU 2806007 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to a system of prolonged stay in the stomach for introduction into the patient’s stomach, containing: an elastomeric component, where the elastomeric component is concave-convex, has one concave surface, two concave surfaces, or is toroidal, where the elastomeric component contains one of polycaprolactane, polyurethane, silicone rubber, polysiloxane, polydimethylsiloxane, silicone rubber mixed with silicon dioxide, polysiloxane mixed with silicon dioxide, or polydimethylsiloxane mixed with silicon dioxide; a set containing at least three elongated elements containing a polymer-carrier-preparation component, where the polymer-carrier-preparation component contains carrier polymer and a therapeutic preparation or its salt, each of elongated elements contains a proximal end, a distal end, and an outer surface between them; the proximal end of each elongated element is attached to the elastomeric component, and it protrudes radially from the elastomeric component, each elongated element has a distal end not attached to the elastomeric component and located at a greater radial distance from the elastomeric component than the proximal end. The system of prolonged stay in the stomach is provided in a compressed state, when it is in a container suitable for introduction orally or through a feeding tube; and in an expanded state due to the elastic return of the system, when it is released from the container in the patient’s stomach. The system of prolonged stay in the stomach is held in the stomach for a period of at least 24 hours. The system releases therapeutically effective amount of the specified therapeutic preparation or its salt for at least part of the period of time, during which the system is held in the stomach. The invention also relates to a method for the manufacture of an elastomer-inter-component fixator structure for use in the system of prolonged stay in the stomach. It also relates to an elastomer-inter-component fixator structure for use in the system of prolonged stay in the stomach. It also relates to a structure of an elastomer-inter-component fixator-docking polymer for use in the system of prolonged stay in the stomach. It also relates to a method for the manufacture of a node of the system of prolonged stay in the stomach. It also relates to methods for the formation of a system of prolonged stay in the stomach.

EFFECT: group of inventions minimizes the load on a system, when stored in a folded state.
