FIELD: reinforcing elastomers.
SUBSTANCE: use of a porous carbon net that contains chemically interconnected carbon nanofibers for the reinforcement of elastomers is disclosed, in which the carbon net has intraparticle porosity, and in which the carbon nanofibers are interconnected with other carbon nanofibers in the net by chemical bonds at their intersections, and the pores in the net have a diameter of intraparticle pores of 5-150 nm as determined by mercury porosimetry, with at least 20 wt.% of the carbon in the carbon nets being in crystalline form, and the carbon nanofibers having an average length to fiber thickness ratio of at least 2. A reinforced elastomer containing the specified porous carbon mesh, and a finished product, which is a tire or rubber product containing the specified reinforced elastomer, are also disclosed.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides reinforcement of elastomers with improvement of their properties.
