FIELD: targeting systems.

SUBSTANCE: method for hitting an area target using the group action of ammunition. To hit an area target, an information centre is created to monitor delivery of the ammunition, being attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to the area target. The UAVs hover at a certain height and distance from each other. After the fact of hovering is registered by the information centre, a common command to detonate them is generated.

EFFECT: increased probability of hitting an area target.
