FIELD: communication technologies.
SUBSTANCE: antenna contains a feeder, an array of passive radiators and a primary reflector. This primary reflector is configured to transmit the signal from the feeder. The array of passive radiators is configured to generate a zero signal in a given range of directions. During use, this array of passive radiators changes the shape of the distribution of the signal transmitted by the feeder and produces a signal null in a specified range of directions.
EFFECT: such an array of passive radiators changes the shape of the antenna signal distribution in a given range of directions in such a way that the antenna generates zero signal magnitude in that given range of directions, which changes the radiation pattern of the antenna, thereby avoiding mutual interference between communication base stations, thus adjusting only one antenna, co-channel interference between antennas can be avoided and communication efficiency between these communication base stations can be improved.
