A method, apparatus, and nonvolatile computer-readable medium are proposed for decoding an encoded bit stream of video data using at least one processor, the method including: based on the number of at least one sub-image of the current image being greater than one, obtaining a flag indicating whether the information is explicitly signaled sub-image separation; based on the flag indicating that the sub-picture division information is signaled explicitly, obtaining the sub-picture division information and decoding the current picture based on the sub-picture division information.
