SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of data processing and, in particular, to video encoding and decoding. A method and a computer system for encoding video data are proposed in which video data including one or more subimages are received, where the type of network abstraction layer (NAL) block associated with each of one or more subimages is identified based on checking the flag corresponding to mixed NAL blocks in one or more of the subimages. Video data is decoded based on the identified block types NAL.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of video encoding.
