FIELD: protecting buildings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protecting buildings and their structures from fires; in particular, it can be used in the design, manufacture, installation and subsequent operation of a fire-resistant suspended ceiling made of large-sized sheets and slab coverings for fire protection of metal floor structures of a building. A fire-resistant suspended ceiling of a building's floor, including a load-bearing frame, a fire-retardant coating in the form of large-sized plasterboard sheets and connecting elements, characterized in that I-beams of the building's floor are used as the load-bearing frame of the fire-resistant suspended ceiling, and two-stage steel fastening strips are used as connecting elements, one end of which rests on the lower flange of the I-beam, and the other end is rigidly attached with self-tapping screws to the plasterboard sheets - fire-retardant coating sheets, pressing the fire-retardant coating sheets to the bottom flange of the I-beam, while adjacent fire-retardant coating sheets are joined within the lower flange of the I-beam.
EFFECT: reducing the labour intensity of manual operations and the time required for ceiling work when installing a fire-resistant suspended ceiling; improving the manufacturability of ceiling installation; simplifying the installation and fastening in the design position of the fire-retardant coating of the suspended ceiling; reducing the height of the ceiling space and increasing the useful structural volume of the building premises; increasing the strength and rigidity of the suspended ceiling frame, increasing its own fire resistance limit; increasing the reliability of fastening large-sized fire-retardant coating sheets at the installation site and eliminating their early destruction by high-temperature shrinkage and warping.
