According to the method, which includes setting the flow area between the blades of the adjustable nozzle apparatus by fixing the position of the ring with grooves, when the unit is put into operation, the adjustable nozzle apparatus is closed using the ring, after which the actual values of the technical condition coefficient of the turboexpander unit are calculated based on the flow rate parameter when reaching a steady state operating mode , if, according to the calculation results, the coefficient of technical condition of the turboexpander unit according to the flow parameter > 1, iteratively open the adjustable nozzle apparatus with the minimum possible step according to the control conditions until the value is reached , and in case < 1, iteratively closes the adjustable nozzle apparatus with the minimum possible step according to the control conditions until the value is reached and the resulting angular position is taken as the minimum.
EFFECT: proposed method increases the efficiency of the turboexpander unit.
