SUBSTANCE: set of oligonucleotide primers and a probe for the detection of human herpes virus 6B (HHV-6B) is proposed. The set has the following nucleotide composition: forward primer HHV-6A/B-for – the following SEQ ID NO: 1; reverse primer HHV-6A/B-rev – the following SEQ ID NO: 2; fluorescent probe HHV-6B-probe – the following SEQ ID NO: 3.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to detect HHV-6B DNA in samples of biological material with 100% specificity and unambiguously interpret the results obtained.
