SUBSTANCE: concerns a new strain of Sheba virus Carnivore protoparvovirus 1 of feline panleukopenia of the Parvoviridae family, genus Protoparvovirus, Carnivore protoparvovirus 1 species, deposited in the All-Russian State Collection of Exotic Types of Foot and Mouth Disease Virus and other Animal Pathogens of the Federal State Budgetary Institution ARRIAH under registration number: No. 455-dep/23-5 - GKShM FSBI ARRIAH. The presented strain is reproduced in transplanted cell culture of Crandell-Reese Feline Kidney (CRFK). In a transplanted cell culture of CRFK, within 120 hours of incubation, the titer of infectious activity of the virus reaches 9.75±0.90 lg TCD2/cm5, maintaining the original characteristics when passaged in cell culture for 5 passages.
EFFECT: presented strain can be used for the manufacture of biological products for the diagnostics and specific prevention of Feline calicivirus and for the control of the antigenic activity of vaccines against this disease.
