FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: used in the restoration of working bodies of soil-cultivating machines subject to abrasive wear. The method includes arc surfacing of the inner working surface along the reinforcement lines with a wear-resistant material of higher density than the base metal of the center toe, in the form of points of wear-resistant material. On the inner working surface of the hoe at the point of intersection of the boundary lines of the inner cutting edge, a hard wear-resistant material is deposited in the form of an isosceles triangle with an increase in the thickness of its layer from 1.0 to 6.0 mm in the direction from the point of intersection of the boundary lines of the inner cutting edge to the base of the triangle. On the outer working surface, hardening is carried out by applying a wear-resistant material on the toe with four points located in the shape of a rhombus, as well as with an ytterbium fiber laser.
EFFECT: increasing the wear resistance of the soil-cutting surfaces of center toes by reducing the wear rate of the base metal on the inner and outer working surfaces of the toe while maintaining its original shape, and also provides a self-sharpening effect of the working part with optimal parameters, contributing to minimal resistance during tillage.
