FIELD: prediction of probability of earthquakes. SUBSTANCE: subsequent series of images of seismic focus is generated in the form of matrix of digital readings of dependence of signal amplitude A(x, y) of own radiation on spatial coordinates. Resulting matrix of image of seismic focus is formed from pixel by pixel ratios of signal amplitude in two reception channels mutually orthogonal in polarization. Outline of seismic focus is isolated on resulting image. Interval of autocorrelation of function of signal and rate of its change inside outline are calculated by series of subsequent images. Probability of earthquake is computed as integral of function of distribution of probabilities of interval of autocorrelation in limits of specified interval. EFFECT: raised authenticity, timeliness and accuracy of procedure. 7 dwg
