FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: wave gear transmission contains a housing, an input shaft and an output shaft, two rigid wheels, one of which is mounted on the housing and the other – on the output shaft, and a wave generator in the form of a cam with a flexible bearing mounted on it. The flexible bearing consists of an outer ring, which is a flexible gear wheel of a wave gear and on the outer diameter of which a gear rim is cut with the number of teeth corresponding to the number of teeth of the rigid wheel mounted on the output shaft, but less than the number of teeth of the rigid wheel fixed in the housing, balls separated by a separator, and a prefabricated inner ring consisting of a conical bushing with an adjusting nut fixed on it and two conical rings, which, when the adjusting nut of the conical bushing is rotated, come closer and increase the diameter of the centres of the balls until the gaps between the balls and the outer ring of the flexible bearing are eliminated, and, when placing a flexible bearing on a cam, which has a conical outer surface, the clearance between the tapered bushing of the inner ring of the flexible bearing and the cam is adjusted using a separate adjusting nut secured to the cam.

EFFECT: improved torsional rigidity and kinematic transmission accuracy.
