SUBSTANCE: use of a food composition for preventing gastric disease or alleviating a condition in gastric disease, containing (1) an effective amount of a Corynebacterium sp. strain, (2) a product of its cultivation, selected from a fermented medium obtained by culturing the specified strain of Corynebacterium sp. in the medium, and said fermented medium from which microbial cells have been removed, and (3) threonine. The use of a pharmaceutical composition containing the above composition for the prevention or treatment of gastric disease, the use of a food composition containing the above composition for the prevention of gastric disease or the alleviation of gastric disease, the use of an antimicrobial composition containing the above composition for inhibition of Helicobacter pylori are proposed.
EFFECT: invention is effective against Helicobacter pylori in experiments on cells, effective in alleviating gastrointestinal diseases in animal experiments, and effective in relation to the synthesis of gastric mucus.
