FIELD: polymer chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing complex stabilizers of polyvinyl chloride, and can be used in processing compositions of chlorine-containing polymers into various products (film materials, cable plastic compounds, profiles, building materials, pipes, etc.). The method is implemented by reacting monocarboxylic acids in an amount of 0.5 mol with a mixture of Ba, Zn or Ca oxides in the presence of a phenolic antioxidant and an ester plasticizer when heated to 130-150°C until the acid number reaches no more than 5 mg KOH/g at the first stage. Then a residual amount of monocarboxylic acid in the amount of 0.2 mol and glycerol are added to the reaction mass and synthesis is carried out at a temperature of 165°C until the acid number reaches 5-10 mg KOH/g. Then the reaction mass is cooled to 40-45°C, epoxidized soybean oil, polyglycerin, and NF phosphite are added, and the resulting mixture is stirred for 20 minutes.

EFFECT: expansion of the range of non-toxic complex stabilizers and improvement in physical and mechanical properties of polymer materials.
