FIELD: antenna technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to measure the parameters of the antenna radiation pattern (ARP) using the fly-by method. The technical result is the automatic measurement of the width of the main beam (MB) of the bottom with high accuracy and the calculation of the width measurement error in one fly-by. The result is achieved by receiving the radiation power signals of the tested antenna on board the aircraft, attenuating them, performing band-pass filtering, digitizing and transmitting them to the on-board computer along with the time of their reception and current coordinates, and also calculating the MB module of the tested antenna, its width and the error of its measurements.

EFFECT: automatic measurement of the width of the main beam (MB) of the bottom with high accuracy and the calculation of the width measurement error in one fly-by.
