SUBSTANCE: method for producing organomodified montmorillonite with polyfluoroalkyl groups is described, including processing natural montmorillonite with a mixture containing 1,1,3-trihydroperfluoropropanol-1 polyfluorinated alcohols during ultrasonic dispersion in a solvent with heating and an ultrasound frequency of 40 kHz, followed by separation of the modified montmorillonite, washing and drying, wherein the mixture of polyfluorinated alcohols additionally contains 1,1,11-trihydroperfluorundecanol-1, and ultrasonic dispersion is carried out in perfluorooctane at 30°C in the following ratio of components, pts. wt.: montmorillonite – 100.0; 1,1,3-trihydroperfluoropropanol-1 – 8.0; 1,1,11-trihydroperfluoroondecanol-1 – 1.0; perfluorooctane – 200.0.

EFFECT: increase in the hydrophobicity of montmorillonite and the stability of the forming organomineral complexes.
