FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a polyfluorinated hydroxyether of the general formula, which involves treating the epoxide with polyfluorinated alcohol when heated, followed by separation of the reaction product; 2-(pentafluorobenzyl)oxirane is used as the epoxide, and the reaction is carried out in a sealed ampoule at 80°C, under the influence of ultrasound at a frequency of 40 kHz for 5 hours in the presence of organomodified montmorillonite with polyfluoroalkyl groups at a molar ratio of 2-(pentafluorobenzyl)oxirane, polyfluorinated alcohol and organomodified montmorillonite equal to 1:1:0.1, respectively.
EFFECT: development of a new method for producing polyfluorinated hydroxyether with high yield, characterized by accelerated reaction under milder conditions, and also not requiring the use of toxic and fire-explosive solvents and catalysts.
