MOTION DETECTION USING MULTICHANNEL PILOT TONE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G01R33/565

Abstract RU 2807579 C2

FIELD: motion detection.

SUBSTANCE: invention is used to detect patient movement. The essence of the invention is that a medical system for detecting the movement of a patient using pilot tones contains a memory storing computer-executable instructions; a processor configured to control the medical system; and a pilot tone system; wherein the pilot tone system comprises a radio frequency system comprising a plurality of transmit channels and a plurality of receive channels, wherein each of the plurality of transmit channels is configured to transmit unique pilot tones using a plurality of transmit coils, wherein the plurality of receive channels are configured to receive multi-channel pilot tone data tone signals using multiple receive coils; wherein execution of the computer-executable instructions causes the processor to: transmit multi-channel pilot tones by controlling at least a portion of the plurality of transmission channels to transmit unique pilot tones; collect multi-channel pilot tones data caused by an impedance response to the transmitted pilot tones by controlling at least a portion of the plurality of receive channels to receive the multi-channel pilot tones data; and determine the motion status of the patient using the multi-channel pilot tones data.

EFFECT: providing the ability to obtain highly informative and accurate data regarding the patient's movement.
