FIELD: diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for magnetic resonance imaging. A medical device additionally contains a subject’s support with a support surface made with the possibility of support of at least part of the subject within an imaging zone. The subject’s support contains a radar array built-in under the support surface. The medical device additionally contains a radar system for reception of a radar signal from the subject. The medical device additionally contains a motion detection system made with the possibility of reception of a movement signal. The execution of machine-executed instructions induces a processor: to continuously receive the radar signal; to continuously receive the movement signal; to continuously calculate a combined motion signal based on the radar system and the movement signal; and to control a magnetic resonance imaging system, using impulse sequence commands for collection of magnetic resonance imaging data, while collection of magnetic resonance imaging data is controlled using the combined motion signal.
EFFECT: increase in the quality of magnetic resonance imaging.
