FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: fish passage structures designed to allow fish breeders to pass through the retaining structures of river hydrosystems to spawning areas. The entrance head is made in the form of a solid reinforced concrete dock structure formed by longitudinal vertical abutments and a bottom sloping in the direction of the water flow. The head includes a flow control device made in the form of two autonomously functioning flaps attached by means of bearing butt hinge to the downstream ends of the longitudinal vertical abutments in the direction of the water flow. Each flap is made with the ability to rotate by means of a drive at an angle from 0° up to 90° relative to the central axis of the tray and is equipped with a wheeled swivel support.
EFFECT: regulating the hydrometric parameters of the water flow to attract migrating fish.
