FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing lead acetate or oxalate by direct reaction of lead (II) oxide with a carboxylic acid under conditions of intense mechanical stirring and the use of a grinding agent, a bulk phase based on an organic solvent and a tribochemical catalyst at temperatures comparable to room temperature. Lead (II) oxide is loaded in an amount of 0.1 mol/kg of the initial load with a 5% excess of acetic or oxalic acid in terms of stoichiometry, n-minoazobenzene as a tribochemical catalyst in an amount of 1.0·10-3 mol/kg. White spirit is used as a solvent. The process is carried out until the oxide is completely converted into the product salt. Then the stirring is stopped, the solid salt suspension is separated from the grinding agent and filtered, the filter cake is washed, squeezed out, removed from the filter and air-dried to constant weight. The filtrate and washing solution are returned to the repeated process.
EFFECT: increasing the yield of the product and almost complete conversion of lead oxide into salt.
