FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing basic tin benzoate (II) by direct interaction of metal oxide with acid in the presence of the tribochemical catalyst and the grinding agent. The method is carried out in the presence of a liquid phase based on white spirit, tin oxide (II) is downloaded in the amount of 0.25 -1.00 mol/kg in the molar proportion of benzoic acid (1:1.05)÷(1:2.20), the tribochemical catalyst is dosed in the amount of (5÷50)·10-3 mol/kg. First, a solution of benzoic acid is prepared, for which fecal is dosed into the reactor as a grinding agent, white spirit, and benzoic acid. Mechanical stirring and heating are included, and acid is dissolved so that at the end of this operation the temperature of the solution is 40-45°C. Without interrupting the mixing, the heating is eliminated, a tribochemical catalyst and tin oxide (II) are introduced and the process is carried out at a naturally developing temperature until oxide is substantially converted into a basic salt. Current monitoring is carried out by sampling and the determination of oxide converted into salt and acid reacted with it. At the completion of the process, the mixing is stopped, the reaction mixture suspension is separated from the grinding agent, the solid product is isolated from it by filtration, its precipitate is washed thoroughly and sent for purification by recrystallization, and the filtrate is returned for the repeated process. In this case, urea, thiourea, phenylthiourea, dicyandiamide, benzenesulfonamide, amide of salicylic acid is used as a tribochemical catalyst.

EFFECT: method allows to obtain a product with high yield and selectivity.
