FIELD: railway wheel.
SUBSTANCE: wheel contains a rim, a disc and a hub. The central line of the axial section of the disk passes through three points. The first point is located at the interface between the disc and the rim, in the central plane or shifted relative to it towards the outer or inner side of the wheel by a distance of no more than 0.02⋅H, where H is the width of the rim. At the second point, the central line of the axial section of the disk has the greatest axial displacement from the central plane towards the outer surface of the wheel. The third point is located at the interface between the disc and the hub and is shifted relative to the central plane towards the inner surface of the wheel. The outer surface of the disk is formed by a curved line containing a concave arc of a circle of radius R1 located at the rim, a concave arc of a circle of radius R2 located at the hub, interconnected in the central part of the disk by a convex arc of a circle of radius R3 located on the side of the rim, and a convex arc of a circle with radius R4 located on the side of the hub, and R1= (0.07÷0.09)⋅D, R2=(0.07÷0.09)⋅D, R3=(0.12÷0.13)⋅D, R4=(0.14÷0.15)⋅D, where D is the inner diameter of the wheel rim. The inner surface of the disk is formed by a curved line containing a convex arc of a circle of radius R5 located at the rim, a convex arc of a circle of radius R6 located at the hub, interconnected in the central part of the disk by a concave arc of a circle of radius R7 located on the side of the rim, and concave arc of a circle with radius R8 located on the side of the hub, and R5= (0.13÷0.15)⋅D, R6=(0.09÷0.11)⋅D, R7=(0.12÷ 0.14)⋅ D, R8=(0.09÷ 0.11)⋅D, where D is the inner diameter of the wheel rim.
EFFECT: increased strength of the tire.
