FIELD: processing of materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of materials by cutting, in particular to prefabricated cutting tools, and can be used in the design of prefabricated cutters. The assembled cutter contains a set of disk modules mounted on a mandrel with the ability to rotate relative to each other in a radial plane and made along the periphery with mounting sockets in which replaceable cutting inserts are installed. The cutter is equipped with adjusting washers with radial corrugations, each installed in a corresponding seat and interacting with the corresponding replaceable cutting plate. Each replaceable cutting insert is made with at least one protrusion corresponding to the depressions between the specified corrugations of the adjusting washers, and the front surfaces of the replaceable cutting inserts are ground to form an enveloping screw surface.

EFFECT: increased productivity of milling processing and the durability of cutting inserts when processing parts made of various structural materials with different geometric shapes and sizes.
