SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a composition for topical use for the treatment of an inflammatory dermatological condition, to the use of the specified composition for the specified purpose, to packaging containing the specified composition, and to a method of producing the specified composition. A composition for topical use for the treatment of an inflammatory dermatological condition, containing a continuous aqueous phase, a dispersed liquid oil phase and crisaborole, in which the dispersed liquid oil phase is a liquid at a temperature of 25°C, in which the dispersive liquid oil phase includes diisopropyl adipate in an amount of 10 to 50 wt.% by weight of the composition, in which crisaborole is present in an amount of 1.5 to 3.5 wt.% by weight of the composition, in which the total content of surface active substance is less than 5 wt.% by weight of the composition and which contains at least 10 wt.% water by weight of the composition. Use of the above composition for the treatment of an inflammatory dermatological condition. A package containing from 20 to 300 g of the above composition. A method of producing the above composition, comprising the following: (i) providing a hydrophilic solvent; (ii) providing a hydrophobic solvent; and (iii) mixing the hydrophilic solvent with the hydrophobic solvent under suitable conditions to form a topical composition containing a continuous aqueous phase, a dispersive liquid oil phase, and crisaborole.

EFFECT: above group of inventions makes it possible to create a medicinal product with improved organoleptic properties and improved chemical and physical stability, which ensures improved penetration of crisaborole through the skin.
