METHOD FOR TRANSPLANTATION OF RIGHT LOBE OF LIVER IN PRESENCE OF THREE BRANCHES OF PORTAL VEIN IN TRANSPLANT Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B17/11

Abstract RU 2807911 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: relates to hepatobiliary surgery and transplantology, and can be used to form an anastomosis between the recipient’s portal vein and the branches of the donor’s portal vein in the presence of three portal vein trunks of the right lobe of the liver graft. Oblique excision of the walls directed towards each other is carried out with the formation of a common opening between two segmental branches of the portal vein and one sectoral trunk. Then an anastomosis is formed between the common venous anastomosis and the recipient's portal vein.

EFFECT: reducing the duration of the operation while lowering the risk of thrombosis due to a smaller number of anastomoses, reducing the dosage of prescribed anticoagulant drugs, creating a more accurate adaptation of the common venous opening and portal vein of the recipient, provides optimal characteristics of the portal blood flow with minimal turbulence, and does not require the use of autotransplants.
