FIELD: heating units.
SUBSTANCE: device that generates an aerosol. The heating unit contains a substrate layer, which is an electrically insulating substrate layer. The heating element is located on the first part of the substrate layer. The substrate layer contains a second part that is free from the heating element. The substrate layer is rolled into a tubular shape such that a first portion of the substrate layer is disposed as an inner layer and a second portion of the substrate layer is disposed as an outer layer surrounding the first portion of the substrate layer. The heating element is located between the first part of the substrate layer and the second part of the substrate layer.
EFFECT: reducing heat losses from the heating chamber, providing electrical insulation of the heating element of the heating unit from the heating chamber, as well as reducing the heating of the outer casing of the device.
