SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at developing an effective means of biological protection of plants against infection by Phytophthora infestans oomycete using the RNA interference (RNAi) mechanism. The claimed invention discloses a complex of the following 24 target genes: 12 housekeeping genes and 12 Phytophthora infestans effector protein genes that can be used as targets for inhibition of expression by the RNAi mechanism, based on the combined sequences of which 8 dsRNA variants were synthesized in vitro.
EFFECT: spraying the leaves of potato plants with an aqueous solution of a composition containing a complex of synthesized dsRNAs helps to inhibit the reproduction of Phytophthora infestans.
