SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining a potato plant with tetraallelic mutations in the coding region of EDR1 gene using CRISPR/Cas9 plant genome editing technology.
EFFECT: method involves obtaining a construct pKSE401-sgRNA2-2-1 containing the nucleotide sequence of an RNA conductor, transferring this construct into potato cells using Agrobacterium tumefaciens to introduce mutations in the coding region of the EDR1 gene, and selecting regenerative plants with tetraallelic mutations in the coding region of EDR1 gene.
