SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining a potato plant with tetraallelic mutations in the coding region of EDR1 gene using CRISPR/Cas9 plant genome editing technology.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a potato plant, and the method includes the following steps: obtaining pKSE401-sgRNA2-2-1 construct containing the nucleotide sequence of the guide RNA, transferring this construct into potato cells using Agrobacterium tumefaciens bacterium to introduce mutations in the coding region of EDR1 gene and selection of regenerated plants with a nucleotide deletion in the coding region of EDR1 gene.
