FIELD: microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: following is disclosed: a method of inoculating soil samples for microbiological research, in which 10 μl of a suspension obtained by suspending one gram of a soil sample in 9 ml of a liquid thioglycollate medium with a 10% glycerol content without additional dilutions is applied to the surface of solid nutrient media, followed by rubbing the applied drop over the entire surface of the dense nutrient medium using a sterile Drigalsky spatula.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the probability of isolating microorganisms from different groups according to the type of respiration: aerobic, microaerophilic and obligate anaerobic.
