FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the biotechnology. Protective medium for cryopreservation of anaerobic, aerobic, facultative anaerobic and microaerophilic microorganisms in fecal microbiota contains nutrient base and cryoprotector. Nutritive base contains dry bacteriological European agar, NaCl, yeast extract, L-cystine, pancreatic hydrolyzate of casein with amine nitrogen content of 700–900 % mg, dextrose and distilled water, and as cryoprotector – 10 % sterile glycerine solution specified content of components.
EFFECT: invention enables to preserve the viability of anaerobic, aerobic, facultative anaerobic and microaerophilic microorganisms of different taxonomic groups under low temperatures and cryopreservation.
