FIELD: microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: following is disclosed: a method of collecting soil samples for microbiological research, in which one gram of soil sample is collected directly at the sampling site and then placed in 9 ml of liquid thioglycollate medium with a 10% glycerol content, while the collection site is marked by GPS navigation.
EFFECT: invention increases the probability of isolating microorganisms from various groups according to the type of respiration: aerobic, microaerophilic and obligate anaerobic.
