FIELD: medical technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol generator for an inhalation device. The following is proposed: an aerosol generator (21) intended for an inhalation device, containing a membrane (25) driven into oscillatory motion, a support element (22), a flexible connector (40) and a ring piezoelectric element (30) having a first (33) and a second (34) conductive zones on its first (31) and second (32) surfaces. A second conductive zone (34) extends through at least a portion of the inner edge (36) or outer edge (37) of the piezoelectric element (30) onto the first surface (31) of the piezoelectric element to form a contact zone (38) so that there are two electrical contacts on the first surface (31). The flexible connector (40) has a surface (42) that is an electrical insulator with the first (47) and second (48) conductive zones that correspond respectively to the first conductive zone (34) and the contact zone (38) on the piezoelectric element. The flexible connector (40) has two “S”-shaped legs (43, 44) to make an electrical connection to a control device that supplies excitation current to the piezoelectric element. An inhalation device containing the specified aerosol generator (21) is also proposed.
EFFECT: aerosol generator of the invention provides performance characteristics comparable to the known aerosol generator, but has fewer components and is simpler to manufacture. The presence of “S”-shaped legs ensures that vibration damping of the transducer caused by the flexible connector is minimized.
