METHOD OF ASSESSING BLOOD SUPPLY TO TRANSITION ZONE OF UTERUS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC ENDOMETRITIS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B8/00

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict pregnancy in patients with chronic endometritis. On days 21–23 of the menstrual cycle, a transvaginal ultrasound examination is performed, a three-dimensional reconstruction of the uterus is performed using the energy mapping function and the VOCAL (Virtual Organ Computer-aided Analysis) option. The color window is placed in the center of image rotation so that the main axis passes through the line of closure of the endometrial layers; the contours of the endometrium are outlined when rotating the image on the screen every 30° 6 times. Then the outlined contour is automatically duplicated at a distance of 5 mm from the first one. Within the obtained projections of the transition zone of the uterus, the vascularization index (VI), flow index (FI) and perfusion index (VFI) are determined. With values of VI 30.1 or more, FI 27.6 or more, VFI 10.4 or more, a high probability of pregnancy is predicted. With a VI value of less than 30.1, FI less than 27.6 and VFI less than 10.4, a low probability of pregnancy is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides prediction of pregnancy in patients with chronic endometritis due to the specified diagnostic criteria.
