METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF EFFECTIVENESS OF SINGLE COURSE OF ULTRASONIC CAVITATION UTERINE LAVAGE IN FEMALES WITH CHRONIC ENDOMETRITIS Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC G01N33/53 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gynaecology and may be used for the prediction of the effectiveness of a single course of the ultrasonic cavitation uterine lavage in females with chronic endometritis. That is ensured by determining the pre-therapeutic blood serum interferon gamma (IFN-γ) and interleukine 6 (IL-6). A prognostic index (PI) is calculated by formula: PI=-0.04X₁+0.40X₂-1.89, wherein X₁ is the IFN-γ concentration, pg/ml; X₂ is the IL-6 concentration, pg/ml. If the PI value is more than 0, the single course of the ultrasonic cavitation uterine lavage is considered to be effective; and the PI value less than 0 enables predicting the low-effective course thereof.

EFFECT: using the given method enables the well-timed detection of a group of females who show the low-effective ultrasonic cavitation uterine lavage that enables finding the management of such patients, and provides a therapeutic effect up to 91% higher ensured by the differentiated approach.
