SUBSTANCE: technology can be used to determine the position of the centre of gravity of a massive and large-sized object by suspending it. The method involves hanging an object twice using a two-link system, in which the length of the primary slings changes between hangings, measuring the angles of deflection of the object and then calculating the coordinates of its centre of gravity. The suspension system is formed in such a way as to prevent loss of stability of the system and possible overturning and damage to the object in this case.
EFFECT: stability of the suspension system, prevention of the object from tipping over and damaging it, and simpler procedure for measuring and calculating the position of its centre of gravity.
