FIELD: medicine; dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in surgery to restore osteoplastic defects in the jaw bone tissue during dental implantation, as well as in reconstructive periodontal surgery. A tissue-engineered structure is proposed for replenishing the volume of bone tissue of the maxillofacial region, including donor multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells obtained from a biopsy of the patient’s gums and incubated on the surface of the carrier; according to the invention, the cell concentration is 2×107 per 1 cm3 of carrier, while the carrier matrix used is nanohydroxyapatite, with a pore size of 20–100 nm, synthesized from eggshell powder and nanodispersed cerium dioxide with a ratio of calcium ions and cerium dioxide cations in the crystal lattice of 4:1.

EFFECT: above-described tissue engineering design accelerates the process of osteoreparation, which facilitates postoperative rehabilitation of patients during subsequent interventions.
