SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an olefin polymerization or copolymerization catalyst component, a method for preparing it, an olefin polymerization or copolymerization catalyst and its use. The proposed catalyst component includes a titanium-containing component, a magnesium-containing component, an electron donor, an organosilicon polymer and an inorganic oxide support. In this case, the organosilicon polymer has the following molecular composition: [R_xSiO_(4-x)/2]_m, where R is selected from C₁-C₆ alkyl, C₆-C₉ aryl or C₂-C₆ alkenyl, or R includes hydrogen and one radical selected from C₁-C₆ alkyl, C₆-C₉ aryl or C₂-C₆ alkenyl, x is greater than 0 and 2 or less and m is the value in which the number average molecular weight of the organosilicon polymer is from 1×10³ to 1×10⁶ g/mol.

EFFECT: creation of a catalyst with a larger-scale improvement in operational parameters, with the help of which the characteristics of the powdered polymer could be improved to a greater extent.
