FIELD: metallurgical industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used in production of rolled strip. Equipment (1) for continuous cleaning of moving steel rolling stock (S) contains a reservoir (2) containing an aqueous solution (3), at least a roller (4) for guiding rolling stock into the reservoir (2) and at least two converters (5). The converters (5) are immersed in an aqueous solution and located at least in pairs on at least one side of the steel rolling stock (S) . Each converter consists of a resonator rod (12) having a drive head (13) at one or both ends, and is positioned so that its length is parallel to the width of the steel rolling stock (S). All converters on the same side of the strip rolling stock are installed with a lateral displacement relative to each other. The converters are shifted one relative to the adjacent one by distance , corresponding to the wavelength created by the converters in an aqueous solution (3), multiplied by 1/m, where m corresponds to the number of converters on the specified side of the strip rolled stock. To clean moving strip rolled stock, the continuous cleaning equipment described above is used. The moving strip rolling stock is immersed in an aqueous solution (3) and ultrasound is emitted into the said aqueous solution using the said converters.

EFFECT: improved cleaning uniformity is ensured.
